The root and leaves of the comfrey plant are rich in a healing compound called Allantoin which has been traditionally used for many years to soothe and decrease healing time for injuries, broken bones, sprains and strained muscles. Its folk name is knitbone and it was commonly wrapped around a broken bone to promote quick repair. This oil is rich in comfrey extract which has been infused into vegetable oil and is pleasant to gently massage in to sprained muscles and damaged ligaments, tendons and bumps and bruises.
Use liberally on affected area for External Use only, do not use on broken skin, Not recommended for use during pregnancy or when breastfeeding.
